    Description

    very nice unrestored 100% original Washington license plate. 1965 issue; number CGZ-488.  12 x 6 inches; green legend on white background. the plate lies almost completely straight and flat, with excellent original paint as seen in the photos.  fresh out of the barn!
    this plate type - green on white with the state name fully spelled out, centered at the bottom, is the ONLY plate type that the DMV allows to be placed on a 1967 vehicle.  furthermore, the state did not reissue everyone a plate in 1965, only new registration, so they are really quite hard to find and very desirable.  don't let this one get away!
