Description

Here is a terrific, antique plate made by F C Greiner Rauenstein for Meissen.
It dates from around 1860.
It features hand-painted 'blue Onion' style designs surrounding a little bird in the center of the plate.
The rim of the plate is deeply ridged, which must have made decorating it especially challenging.
It is further enhanced by red and gold highlights.
It measures 9 inches in diameter, and is 1 inch deep.
This plate is in excellent condition, with no damage, or repairs.
