Antique Weimar Germany Serving Bowl
This beautiful antique serving bowl by Weimer has beautiful purple and white flowers with green foliage. The rim is scalloped with pink and gold beaded designs. It also has lovely embossed leaves that look as though they are hanging from the rim. The bowl is about 9 inches in diameter and it stands about 2 inches tall. It’s beautiful simply to put on display, or in which to serve a vegetable at a dinner with company. The bottom is marked in green with “Weimar, Germany” which my research tells me that it could've been produced between 1848 and 1933. There are also handwritten numbers and letters on the bottom. The condition is used. It is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks and the paint still looks lovely. There are a few blemishes here and there, which may have occurred during production.
