ORIGINAL ca 1940s-50s b&w 8x10 inch glossy photo of BECKS DANCE BAND featuring LOTSA handsome young college boys (but with a few older guys too).
NOTE: Photo is scanned at very low resolution; actual image you'll receive is MUCH SHARPER!
Not sure where they're from: I found this photo in Birmingham Alabama; the major Newspaper research S  I  T  E  shows Buzz Beck's Dance Band playing for a 1950s dance in Klamath Falls Oregon (see 1950 Klamath Falls newspaper clipping as 4th scan above); But, on the same site, there were also several articles about a Beck's Band playing all over Pennsylvania in the mid to late 1930s but this photo looks like it dates from the late 40s or early 50s.
The 1950 dance in Klamath Falls was sponsored by a teen club and I can't see a teen club paying for an eleven (twelve?) member band??
I tried to look up the 3 musicians whose names are given on the verso but without any success :-{
So . . . it's a bit of a mystery.
