    Description

    Offered is a highly collectible Art Deco gilt teacup and saucer made by Porzellanmanufaktur Furstenberg between 1918-1966.
    This absolute jewel of a teacup/saucer is a work of art and with its brown coloration and very fine concentric circles of gilt, is an incredible example of Art Deco design!
    Each piece is extremely thin, yet extremely strong having all the qualities of a very excellent porcelain.
    These pieces are pure perfection!! The bottoms are marked with the Furstenberg "F", "Furstenberg", and "Germany" in green indicating its origination years. Also, the number 01350 designates the motif and the decoration technique.
    Since its inception in 1747, Furstenburg has become one of the finest makers of porcelain in the world.
    Microwaving is not recommended due to the precious metal gilt decor.
    This delicate teacup and saucer are museum quality porcelain and design. What a fabulous addition these highly collectible pieces would make in a collection!!
