    Description

    Antique c. 1890 match holder by Ernst Bohne & Sohne, Germany. Fairly rare piece. White porcelain basket form with monkeys and flower applied detail. Looks to be in excellent condition. I have looked and touched every inch of this piece looking for roughness since there are so many tiny applied pieces, but can find none. However, there might be one or two small areas of roughness that I might have missed. I can't find any, but I will add this disclaimer. Overall, extremely good condition.
    It measures 5 1/4" tall, 3" wide and 2" deep. Marked on base with EBS impressed mark and blue hallmark.
