Green Jasperware Boy smoking a cigarette

Description

Very unusual piece that I believe is German Jasperware. The boys clothes and the fact that he is smoking along with the style of the hanger makes me think this may date to the early 1900's, but that's just a guess as I have asked in various groups and no one is familiar with this piece and I couldn't find another like it. The front is a gloss finish with the back being matt like jasperware. It has the look and feel of quality. The boy is smoking a cigarette and with wisps of smoke around his head. He even has a match in his hand. Makes me think of Huckleberry Finn! The only condition issue is from the manufacturer. If you look closely to the left of his left eye in the picture, there is a small fleck of dirt or something under the glaze. He measures 7.25" x 6" at the widest points. A really beautiful piece.
