JLMENAU TEA POT, OVAL PLATTER – MILK PITCHER & SUGARBOWL – GROT VON HENNEBORG PORZELLAN
Please look at pictures carefully.Sugar bowl missing top. Otherwise all in excellent shape, no chips or crazing.Made in German Democratic Republic (i.e. Communist East Germany).
This set dates before 10/3/1990 when East Germany was dissolved.
Believe this is from the mid-to-late ‘50’s or ‘60’s. Tea pot is approximately 7 ½” tall,
3 ½” wide at absolute bottom of base widening to about 6” at widest part of pot then narrowing to 3 ½” at top rim.
Depth from tip of spout to back of handle is approximately 8 ½”.
Platter measures 93/8” x 6”. Creamer measures 3” tall, 2 1/2 “ wide cross-wise and 4” from outside of handle to tip of spout.
Sugar bowl is 3 1/8” wide by 1 7/8” tall.
