Product Description
Thirty-Four Piece Dinnerware Set handmade by Johs Rominger Company, Germany, attributed to the period 1890-1913. The design is a fluid Art Nouveau gray border on white porcelain. On bottom of most pieces there is the circular mark, "Johs Rominger, Konigstr 35, Kol Hoflieferant (Purveyor to the Court in 2/24/1900, awarded to businesses who have Royal Patronage).
There are 34 pieces:
-12 Salad plates, 7 1/2"wide;
-2 Serving bowls, 2 1/8"high x 8 1/4"wide x 8 1/4"deep;
-2 Bowls, 1 1/4"h x 8 3/4"wide x 5 1/2"deep;
-1 Platter, 12 7/8"wide;
-5 Soup/Salad bowls, 1 1/2"high x 9 5/8"wide;
-10 Dinner plates, 9 3/4"wide;
-1 Vegetable serving bowl, 3 1/8"high x 9 2/8"wide
-1 Covered serving bowl, 5 1/2"high x 10 3/4"wide x 7"deep.
Very good condition,
some loss of the gray painted design, three tiny-tiny rim chips on the Platter (see individual rim photograph).
