Orig 8x10 photo of ARCHIE'S RHYTHM MAKERS, wartime Honolulu dance band?

Description

On offer is an original 8x10 sepia-tone photo of Archie's Rhythm Makers on the job. I have researched this band but have not learned very much. I did find references to a band of this name active in Honolulu in 1944-45. The plants behind the band look right for Hawaii. Did not learn anything about Archie. "Jungle Drums," the music on the piano, was recorded by Artie Shaw in 1939, and does indicate wartime vintage.
Print condition is good, although this is a worn photograph with obvious signs of use, mainly creases and surface cracks. There is some loss of emulsion along the cracks. "Archie's Rhythm Aces" is written on the back in pen. I added a note in pencil noting the band was active in Honolulu in 1945. The Troy Street Images watermark does not appear on the actual photo.
