    Offered from an estate collection is this wonderful and super rare 1948 Washington State Dealer License Plate in very good condition. Original, unrestored with legible dark green paint on aluminum. Shows minor wear at the top mounting slots, and a little paint loss on a few of the embossed letters and numbers. Otherwise no defilement to this great old plate. See photos! It's quite rare; I was unable to find another '48 dealer plate in an online search, except for a dealer motorcycle plate. Passenger plates in 1948 used the 1947 embossed base plate with a window sticker, but '48 dealer (including for motorcycles) and trailer plates do have an embossed "1948".
