VINTAGE CERAMANO VASE 218 DESIGN CAPRI GERMAN MCM CERAMIC POTTERY 60S

We’re retired so we’re liquidating our 25+ year German mid-century ceramic collection before our kids give it all to Goodwill. Please look for our mostly MCM GERMAN, ITALIAN AND AMERICAN POTTERY, GLASS AND OTHER DECORATIVE ITEMS on eBay (under the name Metaverse44).
This listing is for a vintage early 1960’s Ceramano 2 handled vase with a multilayered, tactile, mottled blue and white lava style glaze. It is two handled with shape number 218 as marked under base. Also marked with an in distinct line name. But this is clearly what the factory called “Capri”. The design was by Hans Welling. Height is approximately 6 inches.
Ceramano Pottery was founded by Jakob Schwaderlapp in Germany in 1959 with the intention to produce high quality ceramics of artistic designs beyond mainstream. Ceramano engaged the best ceramic artists of the period including Hans Welling and Gerda Heuckerorth.
No chips, cracks, flakes, repairs or mineral deposits. Looks like this was used as just a decoration for the past 50+ years. A great addition to your mid-century Otto Keramik or German pottery collection or just a great accent piece in your MCM home.
