    Description

    This is a wonderful and unusual Karl Heinz Klette porcelain ceramic bird figurine painted in an arts and crafts style rather than a realistic style. The crowned "D" mark on the bottom, with no mention of Germany, indicates the piece was made sometime between 1952 and 1962. The piece is in good condition with two chips on the bottom (see photos) which are barely seen when the
    figurine is displayed. In addition, it seems the prior owner had it glued down to some kind of base so there is residual glue on the bottom.
    There are no other issues.
    There is no loss of color; the bird is beautifully and stylistically painted. It measures approximately 3.5" long x 1.875" w x 3.625" tall.
