Vtg Waechtersbach Midnight Blue Starry Winter Dreams Cork-Topped Canister Jar

Offered for sale is a vintage canister/jar by Waechtersbach in the beautiful ‘Winter Dreams’. Waechtersbach, located in Western Germany, is renown for its wonderful glazes on their ceramics.
This jar was created with a snowy village scene with gold stars, a gold moon and white clouds on a midnight blue glaze. There’s gold trim around the rim.
The jar itself is in mint pre-owned condition, no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. The painted design and trim looks like it was done yesterday. Its cover is a tightly-fitted cork top which is in great condition, clean, looks like it’s brand new. There is though a tiny “chip” on the cork’s rim (see last photo).
Measurements: appx 4” high and 3” wide.
